    Hi All
I try to open zip file and it asks for a password.
I enter combo of numbers and letters and find it
will accecpt any char and is therefore not looking for hex.

In my viewing of regmon I see a Query that is not met
    Zipfile QueryValueEx 0xC10DA078\C:\MSINPUT\POINT32 NOTFOUND

and upon entering a BOGUS PASSWORD causes a jump to
    Zipfile QueryValueEx 0xC10DA4A4\C:\WINDOWS\media\Ding.WAV NOTFOUND
    Bad cracker msg (I think)

Can someone please explain (asuming that IÆm on the right track to begin with).

How to use this location 0xC10DA4A4 . I need to know how to convert this into something
    useful.
    Is the 0x significant?
Or do I just use the C10DA4A4 part ?
Does it need to be converted? and if so how?

I hope all can learn from the lamer questions that I am almost ashamed to ask in public, but have deep desire to learn .
